Hair extensions - know how to apply hair extensions properly

Hair extensions also give the hair more volume. For instance, hair extensions can make thin hair appear thicker. Another approach to alter the hairstyle without really cutting and changing it with the original hair is by using hair extensions. Your natural hair might become damaged if you use too many products with harsh chemicals or equipment that use heat. The hair extensions add a layer between the products or appliances and the natural hair.

The clip-in hair extensions are incredibly easy to apply. A rat-tail comb and a couple larger hair clips are all you need to correctly install your clip-in wefts. You can upgrade your style and everyday appearance in only a few minutes.

Start by using a brush to stroke your own hair. Detangle your hair slowly and with care. The same is true for your clip-in wefts. Your hair should be divided with the rat-tail brush. Draw a horizontal line over the top of your head.

Start with the largest clip (4 clips), which is located at the back of your head, and work your way forward to the smaller wefts at the front. The clip should always be fastened first in the weft's centre. Continue until all of your wefts are in position. Incorporate the wefts into your hair. You can style your hair with a brush, a straightening iron, or another tool.

If after your initial application your wefts are not in the optimal position, do not worry. You will eventually figure out where and how to attach the extensions because good things take time, so give it a couple more attempts. Ultimately, the non-permanent nature of the clip-in approach is its best quality. You can always remove them and reapply them till you are happy with the way you look.
